Tasks:

1. Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
2. Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
3. Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
4. Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
5. Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
6. Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
7. Plan and control budget and inventory.
8. Establish and implement policies and procedures.
9. Review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions.
10. Oversee operational logistics of the organization.
11. Determine scheduling of production.
12. Coordinate the organization's financial operations and budget activities in order to optimize financial performance.
