Job Summary:
Production Associates in Injection Molding at Omega Tool Corp play a crucial role in the mold validation and manufacturing processes, contributing to the production of quality components. This position involves working with injection molding machines, ensuring efficient operation, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, employee handbook guidelines, health and safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.

Job Details:

1. Full-time, rotational shift

Education and Experience:

1. Completion of secondary school
2. Experience working in a factory environment in a similar role will be considered an asset
3. Familiar with safe use and handling of cleaning equipment and supplies

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce components according to specifications
2. Conduct routine inspections of molded machines to produce components according to specifications
3. Load and unload raw materials into the injection molding machines
4. Assist in the setup and changeover of molds and tooling as needed
5. Knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications
6. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
7. Capable of forecasting and solving problems
8. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
9. Must be able to adapt and welcome change in a positive manner.
10. Capable of being certified to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift and crane.

Working Conditions:

1. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
2. Must be able to work all shifts
3. Occasional overtime
4. Exposure to noise
