What would I be working on?

In Cyber Data Risk & Resilience (CDRR), we deliver first-line defenses to manage Cyber and Fraud risks to Company’s technology, operations, and information. This allows the business to operate and grow in a secure and compliant manner.

As Identity & Access Management System Reliability Experts (SRE) Team, we are the first line of defense in cybersecurity. We oversee the development of Identity & Access Management controls platforms for Business, Technology, and Privileged Access Entitlements. These platforms manage the lifecycle of users’ entitlements, authorization, and digital identity.

The candidate will require knowledge in web programming, Java, Python, Databases, SQL, and Reporting. They should be able to create automated test suites and run SDLC/automated deployments. The role requires someone who is self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a quick learner, and comfortable working across numerous technologies. The ideal candidate takes ownership of critical problems as they work through the full project lifecycle from problem analysis to successful timely delivery of the solution. As the firm adopts a top-down led Agile/DevOps transformation, the candidate would be a core member of an agile team. A strong interest in learning about the business will also contribute to the candidate’s success in the team.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Managing critical incidents and ensuring all key management and business stakeholders are kept up to date.
2. Ensure Production Management is closely aligned/embedded in the Agile software development process and our code meets production standards.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional ownership of issues.
4. Reduction of the cost of support (hours of effort) through the elimination of operational issues, optimization and automation of tasks, development of operational tools and driving client self-service to minimize constraints.
5. Ability to manage an incident call and coordinate multiple teams towards a common goal of resolving a business impactful outage.
6. Identification and prioritization of technical debt that risks instability or creates wasteful operational toil.
7. Analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
8. Develop, Test and deploy automations.
9. Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
10. Monitor and troubleshoot automation issues.
11. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
12. Comfortable with DevOps, Agile, Scrum and SRE principles.

Qualifications:

You should apply on this requisition if you have, at minimum, the following profile:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of four to five years industry experience in Software development.
3. Strong Development skills in Java building medium to large scale multi-threaded applications.
4. Knowledge of scripting in Python and Shell Scripting.
5. Experience with Web Programming and REST/SOAP services (API).
6. Database experience in SQL queries and DB2, Sybase, or Snowflake database & DB reporting.
7. Experience on creating automation test suites, SDLC and automated deployments.
8. System knowledge in Unix/Linux, and Infrastructure setup such as Load balancing.
9. Experience with Ansible, GitHub or similar configuration/release management tools.
