Some Details About The Product Specialist Role

As a Product Specialist, you will be an essential part of a committed team working diligently to add items to our weekly auction. By organizing, cataloging and completing Condition Reports enhanced by clear photos of each item, you will ensure accuracy and timely uploading from everything from ear buds, blenders to queen size beds. Testing items before upload, ensuring each Condition Report accurately depicts any item issues; i.e. missing pieces, no power, brand new, slight evidence of usage, etc. is part of your day. This role ensures Encore has a diverse variety of pieces to select from every week so that our die-hard customers and those who are new to bidding will engage in active bidding and are confident knowing what they are bidding on. No surprises for our bidders is the goal for this department.

What will you need to be successful in this role:

• You have a keen eye and notice the details
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Availability 8:30 am to 5:45 pm Monday to Friday on a permanent full-time basis
• Ability to work Saturdays and over-time as needed
• Working with little supervision, self-discipline is paramount

This role starts at Level 1 hourly rate - $19.00 per hour. After three months of continuous employment, you will be eligible to enroll with our Group Benefit plan - we offer Single or Family coverage with Dental and Vision care included. We also offer enrollment with our GRSP (Group Retirement Savings Plan) for those who are interested.
