On behalf of our global client, we're currently looking for a Product Security Engineer.

Role: Product Security Engineer

Start: ASAP

Location: Remote from Romania

Duration: 6 + months

Capacity: 100%; 5 days a week; 8h a day

Work Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Technical IT Audit, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) roles, preferably with experience from a Big 4 consulting firm as well as experience from an industry firm.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST-800-218 (CISA SSDF) and the EU CRA framework.

Certifications:

• Required certifications in Information Security such as Security+, CISA, or similar credentials.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of best practices in security architecture and security design related to software development.
• Ability to assess cybersecurity controls and technology configurations.

Compliance and Governance Skills:

• Experience in performing technical compliance evidence review and assessment reporting.
• Ability to identify, document, report on control deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Familiarity with compliance tools such as CloudBee Compliance, Audit Board, etc.
