Hours: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Requirement: Must be eligible to work in Canada and reside in Alberta.

This position is remote with travel within Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

The Opportunity

While focusing on delivering the highest level of customer service, the Product Sales Specialist provides on-site agricultural equipment sales support of Agrifac Sprayers and Agrispread fertilizer spreaders to dealers and customers across Canada, with a primary focus in Alberta. The Product Sales Specialist grows and solidifies dealer relationships by communicating, training, educating, and developing strategies focused on optimizing RCW product offerings. The position’s duties include in-field sales assistance, sales support, project management, customer demonstrations, and the execution of marketing activities to maximize engagement. In season, extensive travel is needed, including average weekly overnight stays of up to three nights per week.

In a typical day, YOU Will:

  • Provide specialized infield sales assistance to help dealers and users maximize product efficiency and machine operations.
  • Support dealer sales reps with customer visits and demo calls.
  • Be responsible for capturing dealer and customer dialogue using RCW’s CRM.
  • Participate in dealer customer events, trade shows, etc.
  • Provide structured training programs to enhance technical knowledge.
  • Train dealers on OEM’s sales and service information system.
  • Assist in preparing sales and stocking plans for parts of all Agrifac and Agrispread equipment.
  • Generate ideas and solutions through solid customer relationships. Follow up on customer needs by regular communication within the team.
  • Follow up on leads and provide feedback from dealers and customers.

Required Skills:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience with AG equipment sales.
  • Knowledge of the AG industry and dealer networks is required.
  • Solution selling approach, presenting and explaining features and benefits of our products and illustrating potential cost savings.
  • Basic technical understanding of Ag Equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to talk with customers by telephone, listening as a customer describes a problem, interpreting, questioning, and advising the best option for their need.
  • Self-starter, ambitious, and motivated with the ability to work in a team.
  • An accountable attitude in working with expensive equipment.
  • Ability to use a computer to prepare quotations.
  • Advanced computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

  • Related post-secondary education or;
  • Equivalent combination of education and related industry experience.
  • Two years of higher education or equivalent relevant work experience.

Travel:

  • Regular travel within Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.
  • Approximately 50% overnight travel.
  • Possible annual travel to Europe.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.

Compensation:

This is a salary-paid position based on experience and education. Our benefit package includes Health, Dental, Vision coverage, Life Insurance, Short-Term / Long-term Disability Insurance, an employer-matched Retirement Savings Plan, and three weeks of paid vacation per year.
