We're looking for an Administrator - Product Safety & Compliance to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll collaborate to develop and post store communications, track compliance, and respond to store inquiries. You'll play a key part in identifying trends and potential risks, documenting product issues, and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal regulations. What You’ll Do:
This Administrator will develop and post store communications using an internal system (Reflexis) in collaboration with the Product Safety & Compliance team. It is responsible for tracking and reporting on compliance related directives communicated to TJX Canada store operations.
Monitors and responds to store inquiries; identifies, reports on trends and potential risks based on inquiries being submitted. Reports on opportunities and efficiencies to implement; escalates high-risk issues (e.g. product safety concerns), to team members to be addressed.
Documents product issues and discrepancies such as food labeling, language, identified by Distribution Centre and Stores Operations.
Requests, maintains samples and/or pictures of product concerns; communicates findings to appropriate stakeholders. Partners with Merchandising as required to determine appropriate course of action.
Reviews and coordinates product labels to ensure compliance provincially and federally (CCCR labelling) including Quebec language requirements.
Responsible for monitoring jewelry certificates to ensure certificates are renewed and distributed to all applicable stores.
Responsible for filing cosmetic notifications with Health Canada (as needed).
Participates in special projects and committees.
About You:
Minimum one (1) year of professional experience within retail operations and/or related administrative role.
Post-secondary education in related field (e.g. Administration, Business, Finance).
Knowledge of federal and provincial product compliance, regulations, and standards (e.g. Health Canada, Canada Food Inspection Agency) related to environmental, food, beauty, toy, or children’s apparel is considered an asset.
Good research and problem-solving skills including analysis of information, ability to identify problems, investigates issues, discrepancies and prepare responses; understands the needs of the audience when presenting information.
Strong organizational skills including time management, ability to implement, prioritize, and manage details, multi-task with limited supervision and under time pressure.
Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret information accurately; bilingualism (English & French) is considered an asset.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Power Bi).

Salary Range: $43,117.50-$60,364.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
