We are currently hiring a Product Manager to drive innovation and value through efficiency for employer clients and internal teams.

About the role

You will drive efficient and user-friendly administration of our group retirement plans. This role is critical in enhancing our client experience, ensuring seamless and accurate plan management for employers across Canada, with a focus on small and medium-sized businesses. You will develop and drive strategies to make our plan administration a key competitive advantage, collaborating closely with employers to address their unique needs. Additionally, you will lead initiatives to improve our internal operations and record keeping, strengthening our team’s capabilities in delivering secure, reliable transaction processing in partnership with custodians, investment managers, and other financial institution partners. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in providing outstanding client service and operational excellence in retirement plan administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive product improvements to simplify and streamline plan administration, catering specifically to Canadian small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Canadian payroll and HRIS landscape, building empathy for our clients to find opportunities for improvement and innovation in group retirement administration.
  • Work with engineers and designers, clearly defining opportunities, problems and desired outcomes so that solutions can be identified, tested, built, and refined.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, client service, custodians, and investment managers, to enhance secure transaction processing.
  • Identify and implement improvements to our internal operations workflows to ensure robust, compliant, and efficient processes.
  • Foster a high level of client satisfaction by optimizing plan administration for accuracy, efficiency, and user-friendliness.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management, proven ability to drive desired outcomes for the business that solve client problems within engineering constraints.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a client-centric mindset.
  • Collaborative mindset, you recognize your colleagues’ unique perspectives and strengths, and work to harness them to improve our product.
  • Comfort working with operational processes, client service, and transaction processing within regulated environments.
  • Experience in HRIS, payroll systems or group benefits administration is an asset.
