About the role:

Voldex is looking for an experienced Game Product Manager to lead a game team to ship the right product to the right players to deliver business outcomes.

Success outcomes:

  • Deliver consistent and sustainable product growth (ARPU and player base)
  • Manage, directly, a Producer (or Producers) and a Game Designer (or Game Designers) and ensure that they are effective and growing

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team with developers, designers, art team, data analysts, marketing team, producers, and QA, and create a player-centered team culture with a vision that everyone has bought into.
  • Own the product roadmap and backlog to ensure your team is always working on the highest priority thing, balancing the development of new features, iterations, bug fixes, and other internal tasks.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data so that you and the team can focus on the highest value opportunities (track and analyze metrics at every part of the player journey; incorporate qualitative sources where possible).
  • Design and document features, outlining the feature vision and wireframes, partnering with game designers, producers, and developers, to ensure appropriate content is captured and all information necessary to deliver.
  • Document analysis of tests and learnings to distribute across the organization and for future teams/colleagues.
  • Manage the live operations calendar and ensure the team is consistently delivering exciting and valued content to players.

Requirements:

  • Product Manager: 1-3 years.
  • Experience in a games as a service company (can be mobile or triple-AAA); can be adjacent to product (e.g., analytics) AND/OR product experience in a relevant B2C SaaS technology company.
  • Strong preference to experience in games; preferably in UGC or mobile F2P.
  • High level of data competency/fluency (i.e., data analysis or working with a data partner to solve a business problem) and proficiency in SQL.

Location:

  • Remote Canada, remote UK or remote LATAM.
  • A few trips per year to Montreal (where other leaders work from).
  • Ideally EST time-zone.
