Chef Maintenance / Maintenance Manager

Location: Montreal, QC (on-site)

High Tech Genesis is seeking a Product Development Project Manager to collaborate with the engineering department in overseeing and managing product development projects.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the development of new products and improvement of existing products by ensuring that the product development process is followed.

• Resolve daily issues by leveraging the project team or escalating if necessary.

• Act as the right hand of the Head of the Engineering department.

• Assist in managing resources, budget, inter-department coordination, planning and all other activities needed in managing an engineering department.

• Coordinate and track activities to remove roadblocks to ensure that projects are delivered according to the scope, timeline and budget.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years work experience and 3 in a similar role.

• Experience implementing or following a project management process.

• Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall concepts.

• Must be extremely organized to be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and clearly explain progress and blocking issues.

• Experience in development of consumer products.

• Experience using Jira as a project management and product development tool.

• Must be able to understand electrical, mechanical, firmware and software designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Bonus Skill:

• Bilingual English and French written and spoken.
