What We Need
We are looking for a Product Designer that enjoys tackling complex challenges and working closely with stakeholders to gain deep insights, ensuring you find the most effective solutions. Prioritizing tasks, planning, and executing with precision come naturally to you.
You manage your time efficiently to meet goals and understand the importance of fulfilling commitments and contribute actively to achieving sprint goals and milestones. You also excel in articulating problems and solutions clearly, ensuring that all team members are informed and aligned throughout the process and are driven by a genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
You demonstrate your creativity by building Figma mockups that define and visualize design concepts and embrace the design process, focusing on creating consistent UI elements and reusable components that improve overall product usability. You also validate your ideas through user interviews and testing, ensuring that designs meet real user needs and expectations.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Product Management: Report directly to the Group Product Manager and work alongside the product team to enhance and iterate on core SaaS applications.
- Simplify Complex Requests: Transform intricate feature requests into simple, intuitive design solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
- Lead the Design Process: Drive the design process from initial research through to polished, high-quality UI, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Create Design Artifacts: Produce Figma mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed specification documents to communicate design concepts clearly.
- Develop a Unified Design System: Contribute to building a design library that ensures consistency across our products and creates a unified interaction experience.
- Mobile Design: Design mobile features for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless experience across devices.
- Customer and Stakeholder Interviews: Regularly engage with customers and stakeholders to ensure the design vision aligns with their needs, keeping the team focused on delivering meaningful experiences.
- Champion User-Centered Design: Advocate for the voice of the customer, focusing on delivering simple, delightful product experiences that solve real problems.
- Solve Daily Design Challenges: Address and resolve day-to-day design issues to keep the Engineering team moving forward with development.
- Ideate on Future Designs: Work on larger, forward-thinking design concepts that align with the company's roadmap and long-term goals.
- Shape the Platform Vision: Help advance the vision of a unified Certified Tracking Solutions platform through thoughtful, user-centered design.
Requirements
- Portfolio: A design portfolio that highlights your design acumen, your ability to make product decisions, and the tangible impact your work has had on customers.
- Data Visualization: Experience working with data visualization, particularly for dashboards and user workflows, to present complex data in a user-friendly manner.
- Design Expertise: Proficiency in UX, mobile, interaction, interface, and visual design, with a deep understanding of how to create user-centered solutions.
- Design Tools: Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms.
- SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience using Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence for project management and collaboration.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories through design and articulate design decisions effectively.
- Design: A solid foundation in every stage of the product design process, from research and user interviews to wireframing, prototyping, and hi fidelity mockups.
- 2-3 years experience required.
