Voyageur is excited to add the role of Procurement Supervisor to our Procurement Team. Reporting to the Director, Supply Management, the Procurement Supervisor will be responsible for providing team support in the areas of sourcing, soliciting, and managing the repair & procurement activities for the company.
- Monitor and report to management on project and progress deadlines for a Procurement team.
- Complete and support part repair coordination duties such as issuing purchase orders, soliciting, negotiating and documenting quotations, monitoring and analyzing inventory trends, and building and maintaining relationships with key vendors.
- Resolve routine and escalated problems with suppliers relating to parts, documentation, shipping errors, pricing and invoicing.
- Provide purchasing and repair decision support to team members, including for major repairs (engines, propellers, and landing gear).
- Review vendor invoices and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Manage special projects as directed.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Provide leadership and support to members of the Procurement team and other departments.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or related field considered an asset.
- Minimum three years’ experience in purchasing including proven experience with proposal-based purchasing.
- Experience using maintenance management products, specifically Winair, with preference for those who have related experience.
- Proven communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Positive, responsible and self-motivated with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
