Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, the role of the Procurement Specialist is to provide comprehensive end-to-end execution of the procurement life cycle, specifically in the areas of sourcing, negotiating, contract management, and supplier relationship management. Being cost-conscious and service-oriented, the Procurement Specialist works with organizational leaders to understand business needs to ensure we achieve supply chain goals in a timely manner.
You are an experienced and highly skilled Procurement Specialist that has proven success in ensuring that materials, services and supplies are purchased at the best possible price while meeting the required specifications. You are resourceful, enterprising and continuously looking for opportunities to optimize efficiencies and achieve cost savings in support of organizational goals through detailed analysis and review of existing and speculative arrangements. This role is being offered as a 15-18 month fixed term contract position and will be based out of Denison’s office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
