Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedProcurementSpecialistto join our team. This individual will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of goods and services required for the company’s operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Sourcing & Management:Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials, goods, and services that align with the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Negotiations:Lead negotiations with suppliers to establish favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Supplier Relationship Management:Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, ensuring high-quality standards and reliable service.
  • Cost Analysis & Budgeting:Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to analyze supplier pricing and manage cost-saving opportunities.
  • Risk Management:Identify supply chain risks related to sourcing and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Market Research:Stay informed about market trends, supplier innovations, and emerging technologies that could benefit the company’s supply chain operations.
  • Order Fulfillment:Work closely with logistics and inventory management teams to ensure timely delivery of sourced materials.
  • Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in sourcing activities.
  • Reporting & Documentation:Prepare reports and maintain records of supplier performance, sourcing activities, and procurement metrics.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing strategies and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in international sourcing is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Supply Chain or Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
