Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a dedicated Procurement Manager to join our team. This is a blended role, within which you will direct all procurement functions, including purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality, and traffic coordination. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of projects, ensuring financial and contractual compliance, as well as supply chain management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management:
- Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
- Monitor procurement budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
- Provide procurement status updates and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain disruptions.
- Commercial Management:
- Oversee commercial management activities, including contract administration, financial tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure that all commercial aspects of projects are managed efficiently and in compliance with contractual requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and negotiation of commercial terms and conditions.
- Monitor project financial performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate logistics and inventory management to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Analyze supply chain data and performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance supply chain processes and resolve any issues.
- Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in procurement management for large-scale projects.
- Expertise in supply chain optimization and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of managing procurement budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions.
- Experience in commercial management, including contract administration and financial tracking.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in procurement for advanced manufacturing and technology building projects.
- Knowledge of advanced procurement tools, software, and systems.
- Ability to manage complex procurement strategies across multiple projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
