J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking candidates for the position of Procurement Administrator to join our Supply Chain Management Team.

Responsibilities
  1. Order Entry (Site Purchase Orders and Requisitions)
  2. Daily navigation and support of various key procurement software(s)
  3. Update, manage and closeout purchase orders on completed projects as per instructions from Job Sponsors
  4. Collaboration with internal customers and suppliers regarding day-to-day delivery/on site issues
  5. Develop, maintain, and communicate reporting information
  6. Assist with Spend Analysis
  7. Advise on Cost Savings opportunities
  8. Order Reconciliation and Purchase Order receiving
  9. Key liaison between site and Accounting Department
  10. New Supplier Request (System Entry)
  11. Provide general procurement support to Site Buyers and management team
  12. Provide Training and Support to site
  13. Provide exceptional customer service to our internal stakeholders
  14. Review invoices in Basware for compliance with existing purchase orders and contracts
  15. Collaboration and problem solving within division and with internal customers to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators

Qualifications
  1. Post-secondary education, or an equivalent amount of related experience
  2. Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office, with a strong skillset in MS Excel
  4. Process oriented with a high attention to detail
  5. Able to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  6. Previous purchasing or accounts payable/receivable experience is an asset
