Process Engineer

We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our team at our Bentley, AB branch.

As a Process Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Process modeling in VMG
• Design calculations of pipelines and oil and gas separation facilities including flare systems, PSV sizing and control valve sizing
• Process Operations Support for Oil and Gas Processing Facilities
• Facilitation of Process Hazard Assessments
• Implementation of Process Safety Programs (Carseal and Lock Programs)
• Engineering Design Packages
• Project Management
• Expected to make field visits and maintain relationships with operations personnel
• A strong commitment to working safely and protecting the safety of others

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering or similar
• Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA
• Oil & Gas process engineering experience - minimum 2+ years
• Operations field experience
• Highly analytical with the ability to establish strong internal and external relationships
• Energetic, resilient, collaborative and goal oriented
• Any relevant experience in the upstream or midstream oil and gas industry
• Experience leading client meetings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour
