Principal Consultant, Prompt Engineer

Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Prompt Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Design, test, and optimize high-quality prompts for various AI applications, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and engagement.
2. Analyze AI-generated responses and refine prompts to improve model behavior and output consistency.
3. Collaborate with AI/ML teams to fine-tune models based on performance metrics and user feedback.
4. Develop frameworks for prompt engineering best practices, ensuring scalability across different projects.
5. Conduct A/B testing on prompt variations to measure effectiveness and improve response quality.
6. Stay up to date with advancements in AI, NLP, and prompt engineering techniques.
7. Document prompt designs, iterations, and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and model improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

1. BE/B Tech/MCA
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

1. Experience in NLP, machine learning, AI engineering, or related fields.
2. Strong expertise in prompt engineering for large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s GPT, Google’s Gemini, Claude, or similar.
3. Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain.
4. Deep understanding of AI model training, fine-tuning, and performance evaluation.
5. Experience in working with APIs for AI model integration.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize AI responses.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and product managers.
8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain AI behaviors and model outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
9. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI-driven knowledge systems.
10. Familiarity with ethical AI principles, bias mitigation, and AI model interpretability.
11. Previous experience in AI-driven chatbot development or conversational AI platforms.
12. Understanding of LLM fine-tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
