This position reports to

Product Management Manager

Your role and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing strategies aligned with global division strategy, considering value, competition, and cost/profit.
• Follow and ensure adherence to established pricing guidelines within the organization.
• Propose strategic and operational pricing adjustments for approval by the Product Manager.
• Manage local pricing information to ensure accurate internal transfer pricing.
• Develop cross-divisional pricing concepts for consistency in agreements and key accounts.
• Act as the interface between sales, factories, and product management for special pricing requests.
• Analyze sales and financial data to measure pricing strategy effectiveness and provide regular reports.
• Manage special pricing requests and maintain pricing information in the system to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's in business, finance, marketing, economics, or a related field experience in roles that require strong analytical skills, such as a Pricing Analyst or a similar position, is highly beneficial.
  • Bilingualism. Written and spoken (French and English). French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the industry. This includes understanding market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Experience working with other departments like sales, marketing, and product management to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
  • High customer focus and good sense of urgency and ownership.
  • Teamwork oriented and demonstrate high level of initiative, problem solving, information seeking and eager to learn.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Knowledge of Microsoft Power platform an asset.
