The Position
Reporting to the Director of Well-Being, this position will be a multi-faceted project management approach that primarily will be required to oversee supports under prevention services in six of the STC member nations to transform the historic and discriminatory ‘child welfare system’ to a ‘Child and Family Wellbeing System’ through the Progressive Model. The position will provide leadership and oversee projects related to the development and implementation of multiple programs using project management best practices. Provide support and guidance to the Director in regard to financial management, and Governance House preparation. Manage prevention services within the department. The position will assist communities in identifying and building capacity, training community staff in developing annual plans and reporting processes/standards to ensure positive outcomes and community independence with respect to applicable child and family services legislation, regulations, policies/procedures and projects. The position will also collaborate with leadership across all levels of STC and STC Member Nations to identify opportunities, establish objectives, evaluate the effectiveness and provide status updates on the Progressive Model.
