Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder II. The Pressure Vessel Welder II will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures, or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, performing a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies, and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. This role is located in Delaware, Ohio and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $25.00

Schedule: 1st shift 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Responsibilities

Pressure Vessel Welder II Responsibilities:

• Following the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
• Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
• Identify and implement safety improvements.

Qualifications

Pressure Vessel Welder II Qualifications:

• At least 1 year experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
• Experience and certification in welding in accordance with ASME standard – certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
• Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to fitting and welding components.
• Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
• Methodical, organized, and precise.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
