Job description

Our client, a provider of application lifecycle management, has an opportunity for an experienced pre-sales application engineer to join their North American Sales & Service Team. You are a results-oriented team performer with the motivation and skill to drive the technical pre-sales process.

You Have...

  1. Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant technical pre-sales or consulting experience in Fortune 1000 accounts
  2. Strong understanding of application development and workflow processes
  3. Ability to understand customer issues and map high level business issues and to provide a roadmap to customer success
  4. Proficiency with UNIX and Windows NT operating systems
  5. Programming and scripting skills preferred
  6. Experience with database administration and configuration - SQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, UML, DB2
  7. Strong presentation and communication skills to white board solutions, present demos and lead Proof of Concept (PoC)
  8. Assess current environments including integration and/or cross platform needs
  9. Evaluate project scope to determine feasibility and resource requirements

Your superior relationship-building and technical sales abilities make you an ideal candidate to meet and exceed your team's sales objectives.

You have outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, and a creative approach to solution selling. You should have a demonstrated record of achievement in departmental/enterprise-wide application software sales or consulting.
