Sounds interesting? Here’s what your day would look like as a Pre-Press Technician at Tempo:

• Pre-flight and prepare customer supplied print-ready files in a timely and efficient manner.
• Separate and colour correct files to Tempo standards to allow for the customer’s graphic to print at the highest quality.
• Perform quality control of digital files, output proof for approval processes, and check quality control on final output documents. Report any issues to the Customer Service or Department Supervisor.
• Communicate and work with the team to increase quality of files, reduce waste, and resolve file and printing issues.
• Assist in managing materials for production by recognizing material requirements.
• Protect the health and safety of yourself and others by performing safety checks at your workstation, creating work orders to repair damaged equipment, and keeping common workstations and areas clean.
• Work as a team to overcome shift obstacles, exceed daily department targets and celebrate team successes.
• Promote Tempo’s core values by working within all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required by the Pre-Press Supervisor or Manager.

Ready to apply? Here’s what we need from you:

• High School Diploma, or GED Equivalent
• Past working knowledge or experience working with a variety of Graphic Design environments and equipment, or other transferable machinery skills would be an advantage
• Past working experience with a variety of graphic design programs, such as Esko Suite, Acrobat, Illustrator, etc.
• Ability to adapt to new situations, solve problems, and work with minimal supervision
• High level of personal integrity and accountability, with mutual respect in dealing and speaking with others
• A positive outlook, team-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow as a person and team
