Practice Leader – Construction (Hybrid)

Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Broker to join their team! This is a newly created role where you will help build out a new division and the ideal candidate must have experience with mid-large sized construction accounts.

Location : Hybrid in BC

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to :

• Help build out a Construction team
• Be the market facing lead on submission development, strategies, negotiation rate, and coverages
• Set up internal processes, forms, and procedures for servicing clients
• Supporting products with presentations to clients and prospects on coverage recommendations and marketing results
• Attending client and prospect events hosted by brokerage

Requirements :

• 7 years+ experience placing insurance programs for construction clients
• Must understand how to assess, structure, market, and place insurance programs for developers and construction industry entities
• Team player with excellent communication and management skills
