Powder Coating Production Supervisor in Guelph | $25- $27/hr (2025-02-21)

IS2 Workforce Solutions is recruiting an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor in Guelph. This is a full-time opportunity that offers steady work, great training, and advancement opportunities.

Job Duties:

1. Overseeing a team of 8+ team members in the powder coating department.
2. Ensuring all powder coating processes are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
3. Maintaining a hands-on approach to coaching and developing team members.
4. Understanding and implementing safety protocols in the work environment.
5. Monitoring equipment and materials to ensure optimal operation and supply.
6. Identifying and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise during production.
7. Coordinating workflow and scheduling to meet production targets.
8. Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of powder coating equipment.
9. Implementing continuous improvement practices to enhance productivity and quality.
10. Maintaining accurate records of production metrics and employee performance.
11. Training new team members on powder coating processes and safety standards.

Qualifications:

1. Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in a powder coating or related manufacturing environment.
2. Must have experience supervising a team and managing daily operations.
3. Must be a self-starter who can understand what needs to be done and how to get it done without supervision.
4. Strong knowledge of powder coating processes, materials, and equipment.
5. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
6. Ability to perform quality control checks and ensure compliance with industry standards.
7. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
8. Must have steel toe shoes or boots.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
10. Great time management and organizational skills.
11. Experience with inventory management and production scheduling is a plus.

Shift hours:

Salary: $28+ (based on experience)
