The Clinical Sleep Research Unit at the University of Ottawa Institute of Mental Health Research at the Royal has exciting opportunities for a postdoctoral researcher interested in expanding their expertise in clinical research in the area of sleep, mental health, and neurosciences. The selected candidate will work on interdisciplinary projects centered on sleep phenotyping in various clinical populations (with a focus on brain-heart interactions) and investigating the delivery of adapted sleep interventions. Along with experience with human research, knowledge in sleep, mental health, neuroimaging, EEG, and/or heart rate monitoring/analysis is an asset. Having a clinical background (e.g., clinical psychologist) is also a strong asset but is not necessary. The Sleep Research Unit values diversity, equity, cooperation, efficiency, and conscientiousness and is committed to maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment for all members regardless of race, religion, color, age, sex, or disability.
