POSITION SUMMARY
The Port Interpretive Centre casual staff member will be the first point of contact at the Port Interpretive and Visitor Information Centre and will provide engaging education to visitors and community members about the Port’s history, operations and future through interactive displays and activities. This position will support day-to-day operation of the space, be accountable for leading tours, and support organizing community events and hosting activities in the space and in the community.
In addition, this position will provide visitor information services to guests and may provide visitor outreach to cruise ship passengers arriving in Prince Rupert. Other duties may involve supporting the community relations and public affairs teams on a variety of initiatives led by the Prince Rupert Port Authority.
