Engineers and Geoscientists BC is currently searching for a Policy Analyst to join our team in Burnaby on a 10-month contract until July 2025!
The Policy Analyst reports to the Legal Counsel, Policy Manager ("LCPM") and assists the LCPM in developing and/or revising bylaws, policies, and procedures within the Legislation, Ethics, and Compliance Department; guiding implementation; and administering the lifecycle of bylaws and policies with regular review to ensure accuracy and currency of policies and procedures.
In particular, the Policy Analyst supports the development and process of bylaw amendments through review of legislation and research, drafts memoranda, works on numerous unique departmental projects, collaborates across departments on policy issues and other projects, tracks and administers bylaw and policy changes through the approval process, and uses their writing, analytical and research skills to produce high-quality work to broadly advance the requirements of the department and organization.

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary of $75,000-$83,500 annually (pro-rated based on the length of contract). For contract employees on a short-term contract, we also offer:
