The Opportunity:
Medavie is looking for a highly skilled Senior Project Manager! Do you thrive on managing deliverables and leading change in a complex and innovative environment?
Our Corporate Project Management Office (CPMO) team is not your everyday project management team - as a strong team of project managers, we offer work-life balance, collaboration with leadership, and the opportunity to influence change in a health care organization that drives their strategic vision with technology. Our project managers are the driving force behind the success of projects and programs at Medavie.
As a CPMO Senior Project Manager you develop a deep knowledge of our business and work with a diverse team of IT and Business subject matter experts to deliver projects with varying levels of complexity and risk, on time, on budget, and on schedule. Your accountabilities include ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives in alignment with business goals, communicating results across a broad stakeholder audience, building and developing project teams to ensure maximum performance, providing purpose, direction, and motivation to senior professionals, in support of the overall delivery. As a Project Management Professional, you will also support the growth of the CPMO by contributing to the continuous evolution of our project management methodologies and practices.
This role can be remote within Canada, with the option for in-office or hybrid work arrangement for those who reside close to our offices.
What you need to succeed:
We are looking for Project Management professionals who can lead projects throughout the entire project life cycle and who have successfully delivered projects with varying levels of complexity and funding. You have an advanced skill set to motivate others throughout project initiation, planning, execution, and close out. You have experience running in parallel multiple complex projects with Business and IT components, all while managing change effectively. You have experience coordinating internal and external resources with impacts to multiple functional areas.
You are a dynamic project partner and effective communicator with a high degree of emotional intelligence. You can establish and maintain effective relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders; and can adjust communication style to accommodate various audiences. You have experience reporting project outcomes and risks to multiple leadership levels, including executives, with an ability to navigate and escalate complex issues as necessary.

Security Clearance: Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date. This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
