Plant Operator

Techmation Electric & Controls is looking for an experienced Plant Operator for a project located in Northern BC. Individuals must be knowledgeable about current OH&S legislation, and conversant with the industry standards and practices of today’s safety-focused Oil & Gas sector.

This opportunity offers camp work north of Fort St John, BC. The current project offers a 15/13 shift.

Requirements

1. Oil and Gas industry experience required
2. Minimum of 5 years previous gas plant operations experience
3. Amine processing experience would be considered an asset
4. Must have current Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and CSO certificates
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work within a team environment are required
6. Must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and complete routine tasks
7. Preference may be given to contract operators with their own company
