Role Overview:

Structural Precast is on the lookout for a Plant Manager to lead our Main Claresholm facility. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates who are not just looking for a job but a significant career opportunity. You look for ways to improve your role while simultaneously improving Structural Precast through your leadership skills, innovation, proven methodologies and performance management of the team.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of the plant’s operations, ensuring effective production processes, workflow, and workforce utilization.
2. Oversee various departments including Production, Shipping & Receiving, and Proactive Maintenance.
3. Develop and implement new business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
4. Lead cross-functional teams within the plant, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
5. Conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and prepare for audits.
6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to gauge productivity and implement improvements as necessary.
7. Manage budgeting, financial performance, and production scheduling to meet the demands of the business.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Must be a Canadian Permanent Resident with relevant local experience.
2. 10 Years Proven experience as a Plant Manager or a similar leadership role in a precast concrete or related industrial setting.
3. Strong strategic planning, leadership, and organizational skills.
4. Excellent communication abilities, with a focus on clarity to prevent costly miscommunications.
5. Motivated to build a long-term career and committed to continuous personal and professional development.
