Our client, a Canadian based production company, is looking to hire a Plant Manager to help lead their Brampton location. The right candidate will not only effectively lead the plant, but will also help ensure manufacturing targets are met while continuously improving efficiencies and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and effectively manage plant staff, but also monitor production of the Brampton plant location
• Ensure all company policies are followed and adhered to for safe work practices
• Work closely with leadership staff to ensure quality control
• Align with the human resources department to address employee issues as needed
• Monitor equipment in the plant and address issues or maintenance needs with the maintenance team
• Assist with rush orders and sales as needed
• Advocate and champion continuous improvement in the workplace
• Various administrative tasks

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Plant Manager based in manufacturing (Just-In-Time preferred)
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record in health & safety initiatives, as well as quality control
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Prior experience developing and implementing successful KPI's
• Strong coaching and team building skills
