We are seeking a skilled and analytical individual to support our two operating sites in Ontario (Peterborough and Petersburg). As a key partner to operations leadership, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and reporting on operational performance, developing key performance indicators, and driving strategic initiatives.
Reporting to the Vice-President, Finance, based on Montréal’s South Shore, you will work closely with our Ontario-based general manager and plant manager to support business growth, optimize processes, and implement best practices. Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the budgeting process for our two Ontario sites (Peterborough and Petersburg).
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports to support Ontario divisions and senior management.
- Maintain financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop, implement, and monitor key operational performance indicators to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
- Conduct variance analysis on budgets and provide actionable insights to the operational team regarding production performance.
- Partner with operations and divisional leaders to analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and enhance financial efficiency.
- Support process improvements within the finance department and contribute to the implementation of BI and reporting tools.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance function.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or accounting.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance, administration, or related functions in a manufacturing environment.
- CPA designation.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills (advanced Excel).
- Knowledge of POWERBI and other BI tools.
- Strong communication and outreach skills.
- Self-starter and able to set priorities and achieve objectives.
- Good leadership skills and ability to take ownership of projects.
- Results-oriented and deadline-driven.
