The Corporation of the City of Thunder Bay

has a rewarding opportunity for a Planning & Research Analyst! (Temporary Full-time)

Work Location: Thunder Bay

As the Planning & Research Analyst you will be responsible for developing and aiding in the implementation and supervision of technical projects, preparing technical reports and specifications, and assisting in the development of new programs. This role will be under the general direction of the Superintendent - Sewer & Water.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  1. Degree or diploma in engineering technology or sciences;
  2. Minimum two years of related experience, including background in general construction as well as knowledge of process operations;
  3. Strong research, project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, and problem-solving skills;
  4. Must be at an intermediate skill level in word processing and spreadsheet software.
