Pipefitter-Shut down worker

Harmac Pacific is located in Nanaimo, B.C. Our primary business is operating the Harmac Pacific pulp mill which is renowned for its production of world-class quality NBSK pulp.

We have an opportunity for pipefitters to participate in our maintenance shutdown from March 17-27. The schedule will be 10 hrs/day for the duration of the maintenance period. Compensation will be $50.925/hour, as per our collective agreement. For those who qualify, a LOA allowance of $200/day, inclusive of mileage, meals, and accommodation for the duration of the 2025 shutdown.

Requirements:

1. Red Seal trade certification
2. Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working safely in an industrial environment
3. You are an independent self-starter, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, you are highly organized and adaptable to changes in the work environment.
