Pick-Up & Delivery Night, UC Driver

• Nights: $26.27/per hour + $1.00 premium
• Monday - Saturday morning, 11:30 pm - 10:00 am

Cardinal Couriers is looking for motivated individuals to join our team. This position is responsible for loading orders into an assigned company vehicle and following a predetermined route to ensure that all deliveries are made safely and on time. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced environment that requires driving, lifting, lowering, and carrying packages to ensure damage-free delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Accompany the driver on delivery routes and help in timely and accurate deliveries.
• Carry packages to the delivery location and designated drop-off points.
• Complete pick-ups and deliveries throughout the evening for pre-8am parcel availability deliveries/pick-ups.
• Participate in loading and unloading materials on outgoing trucks by repetitive lifting.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and operate company equipment safely.
• Daily submission and completion of all required documentation in an accurate manner, to be submitted to Night Supervisor and/or Operations Manager as soon as possible.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and subcontractors.

Who you are:

• Minimum G License: 2 years (required)
• Minimum 2-3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean Ontario driver abstract and CVOR report.
• Clear criminal record check
• Previous warehouse shipping/receiving experience.
• Perform responsibilities safely, in accordance with company policies.
• Independent and self-starter
• Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable and capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
• You keep an organized and clean environment.

• 11:30 PM - 10:00 AM
