Pesticide Applicator

The incumbent will be responsible for several different aspects as a Landscaper for our customers and clients in both the public and private sector, mainly properly mixing and applying herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides to trees, lawns, shrubs, or botanical crops.

Job Duties

• Perform chemical and mechanical vegetation control
• Properly mix chemicals and water in sprayers and apply the pesticides
• Maintain meticulous records, inventory and equipment
• Operate various applicator, adhering to all company and environmental standards
• Manage customer service expectations
• Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment
• Abide by Davey and industry safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in Hardscape and Softscape.
• Strong knowledge of pesticide applications, spray feeding and basic lawn maintenance.
• Strong shrub and plant identification skills
• Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Valid Drivers' license.
