PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKERS / INDEPENDENT LIVING ASSISTANTS

Provide individualized and personal support services to help clients live independently and inclusively in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with daily living activities (personal care, meal prep, household tasks)
2. Support community integration (transportation, social engagement, activities)
3. Provide technical support for mobility aids and adaptive equipment
4. Promote independence and skill-building through rehabilitation support
5. Ensure a safe, respectful, and empowering environment

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in personal care or support roles.
2. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients of various needs.
3. Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a commitment to providing quality care.
4. Physical stamina to assist with mobility and daily activities.
5. Ability to follow care plans and maintain confidentiality.

HOME HELP WORKERS

Provide essential household support to individuals who require assistance maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. This role is ideal for those supporting seniors, individuals living with disabilities, or those recovering from illness by assisting with routine household tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Light housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
2. Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothes.
3. Change bed linens and ensure a tidy living space.
4. Help to maintain a safe and clean home environment.

Qualifications:

1. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Physically capable of performing household tasks (e.g., bending, lifting, standing for long periods).
