Personal Support Worker

In-Home Assisted Living Inc. (Homecare) of Toronto is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our clients in Toronto. Work setting is within private homes.

Location: Eglinton Ave W and Allen Rd.

Schedule: 3-5 days per week, 12-hour shifts.

Language Requirement: Croatian or Serbo-Croatian.

How You Will Spend Your Days

• Basic Meal Preparation
• Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
• Medication Reminders
• Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Responding to emergency situations
• Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Success In This Role

• Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
• Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
• Ability to follow client care plan
• Strong problem-solving skills

Compensation

$20.00 per hour.

Vaccination policy in effect. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Safe workplace environment.
