Job description

The Position :

As the Project Coordinator, you will be working with our National Sales, Specialty and Group Insurance Leadership team to maintain a clear and focused communication of vision to the team. You will participate in strategic discussions with various cross-functional teams across the organization along with coordinating the appropriate updates across the business.

What the Role Entails :

  1. In collaboration with the corporate leadership teams, maintain an effective relationship to support each leader of the teams, knowing their business and needs.
  2. Be responsible for coordination of resources to support reporting, presentation and updates on initiatives; continuously seek solutions to achieve objectives, meet deadlines and support the organization’s roadmap.
  3. Actively participate in the team’s strategic planning.
  4. Liaise with multiple departments to attain a holistic perspective.
  5. Willing to consistently educate yourself on the latest trends in insurance, the economy and technology.
  6. Apply influence and negotiation to gain support from cross-functional teams.
  7. Analyze and summarize information in presentations for leadership.

The Successful Candidate will have :

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related management work experience.
  2. Project Management Professional certification an asset or willing to obtain.
  3. Chartered Insurance Professional Certification (CIP) or strong knowledge of PL / CL insurance.
  4. Strong collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across the company.
  5. Passionate: Inspiring and engaging people, you can effectively manage priorities with tight timelines.
  6. You rely on others’ candid feedback for continuous improvement.
  7. You are always looking to drive towards the next innovation that can change the broker and customer experience.
  8. You convert strategy into action; you have a personable, effective and confident manner with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
