Job Title: Senior Business Analyst Consultant

Client: Alberta Social Housing Corporation

Location: Capital Boulevard, Edmonton, Alberta

Project Duration: Project Start Date: April, Project End Date: March

Job Description:

  1. Perform business analysis activities to assess the current and future states of ASHC, housing providers, and related stakeholders.
  2. Coordinate the implementation of ASHC's Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Microsoft Dynamics, software solution.
  3. Coordinate the development of changes in Microsoft Dynamics, required as a result of new interface requirements to the GOA GX solution.
  4. Provide change management support associated with the Microsoft Dynamics upgrade and any Divisional Red Tape Reduction strategies that need to be supported within the HOME application.
  5. Define technical project plans and work with the Application Development team to coordinate execution of delivery.
  6. Coordinate project plans with other ministries and/or enterprise components for integration processes with the Government of Alberta's GX project.
  7. Elicit, document, and analyze business, stakeholder, and solution requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Create acceptance criteria, test plans, and develop test cases for solution enhancements and/or during the evaluation of potential solution components.
  9. Maintain and enhance existing business architecture as changes to organizations, processes, business rules, and systems occur.
  10. Design processes as required to assist in the delivery of operational support for information technology solutions.
  11. Design and coordinate the development of reporting and business intelligence solutions as needed to address information requirements.
  12. Coordinate the implementation of ASHC's Housing Digital Services project.

Skill Set Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience working with Microsoft Dynamics customer engagement solutions.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in developing current and future-state business architecture models, including requirements, business processes, business rules, information models, and organizational models, specifically for case management applications.
  3. Proven experience working with enterprise-class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software products.
  4. Expertise in data conversion from legacy systems to new systems, including the development of data conversion plans, defining conversion threshold metrics, and planning go-live transitions to operational status.
  5. Experience designing and implementing process improvements across large organizations, including coordinating the decommissioning of business applications and their integrated systems.
  6. Demonstrated experience in a project management role, including managing project timelines, budgets, risk mitigation, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
  7. Experience leading change management initiatives and creating communication plans to support organizational transitions and adoption.
  8. Experience integrating systems with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform.
  9. Demonstrated expertise in developing advanced analytics, dynamic reporting solutions, and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Education: Diploma or Degree in a Business and/or Information Technology-related field.

Certifications: ITIL Certification, Agile Scrum Master Certification.

Documentation Required for Submission: Three references for whom similar work has been performed, including the client name, contact person, address, telephone number, and email address.

Work Hours: The Contractor is expected to work on-site and collaborate with other staff and contractors as needed, providing monthly written status updates. The primary work location is not restricted to Capital Boulevard in Edmonton, Alberta, but adherence to regular business hours is required. The Contractor is not required to work out of Capital Boulevard, and necessary hardware and software for on-site work will be provided by the Corporation. For any offsite work, the contractor must use their own hardware, as the Corporation will not supply equipment for remote work.
