Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Permit Coordinator to join our airport construction program team. The successful candidate, under general supervision, provides administrative control over the permitting process. This includes: maintenance of permitting information, from input of said permits, routing permits to each review agency and/or division, collecting and organizing all review information to the point of permit issuance.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Serves as the point of contact for coordination of review and issuance of permits.
2. Answers general questions for processes and services, which includes permit applications and inspection requests and procedures.
3. Processes permit applications associated with the airport construction program; reviews for completeness, and forwards to appropriate department for review.
4. Processes all permits after the completion of plan review. May process over the counter permit.
5. Upon issuance of a permit, ensure the workflow is accurate for the inspection on-line or call in process.
6. Inputs data into relevant computer software system; meets deadlines and performs multiple tasks efficiently while under pressure.
7. Meets schedule and attendance standards. Assists with and assumes responsibilities as needed in other areas of the program as assigned.

Education & Specific Role Requirements:

1. Requires University Degree.
2. Two (2) years of experience in infrastructure construction projects.
3. Experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
