Performance Tester

High Tech Genesis is looking for an exceptional Performance Tester who will be involved in setting up a test environment, utilizing tools to load applications under stress and measure performance.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Meeting with the product design team to determine product testing parameters
2. Set up the performance test process from scratch and own the performance test process
3. Write test plans and create test cases for the product
4. Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability
5. Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes
6. Preparing test reports for management to review
7. Analyzing message flow and response

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Major experience working as a performance tester
2. Experience with load generation with REST
3. Ability to write and create automation test scripts using Python
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in performance testing monitoring and observability tools
5. Ability to understand the various system components and debug performance bottlenecks
6. Experience with Linux, SSH, and Ansible
7. Understanding of Routing and Switching
8. Superior problem-solving skills
9. Advanced technical writing skills
10. B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering
