Summary:
The Recruiter is an important part of the overall People and Culture team. MWS prides itself on being an Employer of Choice; this starts with our recruitment process. Ensuring our people-first reputation is abundant throughout our recruitment process in how we interact with potential candidates, interviewees, and new hires. Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the new hire process for all aspects of the full-cycle recruitment process.
- Actively solve unique challenges that arise throughout the candidate sourcing process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and requirements.
- Take time to understand the unique and varied roles throughout MWS.
- Evaluate resumes against position descriptions.
- Write job descriptions, job postings, and advertisements.
- Develop strategies for candidate outreach.
- Understand market analyses and Talent Acquisition workflows.
- Develop and suggest improvements for our talent and recruitment processes and programs.
- Contact candidates to obtain necessary information and answer any questions/ concerns.
- Utilize applicant tracking software to manage job postings and applications.
- Lead phone and face-to-face interviews, in-basket/presentation, and evaluation process.
- Utilizing multiple job boards, referrals, social media, and databases to conduct searches.
- Responsible for obtaining new business through referrals and leads.
- Preparing candidates for interviews, negotiations, benefits, perks, and incentives.
- Contact candidates and ensure they feel included throughout the process; recruitment, hiring, and declination.
- Prepare, organize, file, and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed.
Competencies & Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Sales, or other related fields.
- 1-3 years of recent experience in recruitment.
- Understand how legislative changes impact the recruitment and hiring process.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in French is not required, but it is considered a valuable asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Good work and attendance record required.
- Possess a valid driver’s licence and have the flexibility and ability to travel to all locations.
- Takes pride in driving oneself and others towards operational excellence.
