Workplace Information: On site

Salary: $30.00 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time, Day, Evening

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Work Location

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks:

  1. Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  2. Store, update and retrieve financial data
  3. Prepare monthly statements
  4. Complete and submit documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance
  5. Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans
  6. Maintain payroll
  7. Maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems
  8. Prepare T4 statements and other statements
  9. Perform data entry
