About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Payroll Administrator to join our company-wide Payroll team working from our Kamloops office. In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic payroll team, providing support for over 700 employees.

- Providing support in preparing and processing multi-jurisdictional, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payroll for over 700 employees.
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the processing of both hourly and salaried payrolls.
- Assisting employees with benefits enrollment and addressing any related inquiries.
- Ensuring accurate and timely updates to benefits records.
- Responding to payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly and professionally.
- Providing support and resolving issues related to payroll discrepancies.
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic and year-end payroll reports and reconciliations.
- Supporting the accounting team with payroll-related data and documentation as needed.
- Working closely with the payroll team to ensure efficient operations and effective communication.
- Collaborating with Branch Stewardship Teams to provide necessary payroll information and support.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the payroll system.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new procedures to enhance payroll operations.
- Engaging in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with payroll best practices and regulations.
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee records and payroll information.
About You
The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of related experience in a professional office environment in a similar payroll capacity. Relevant post-secondary education in payroll or accounting is beneficial but not required.
