Canada Partner Account Manager – Strategic National Partners

Location: Canada (Remote/Flexible)

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

Are you ready to be an integral part of a partner’s business across multiple teams and departments? As a Canada Partner Account Manager (PAM), you will serve as a strategic ambassador to our national partners, ensuring alignment between our field sales teams and partner sales organizations to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, executing joint business plans, driving sales alignment, and fostering a collaborative hunting motion between our sales force and our partners. You’ll be present on the partner sales floor, building mindshare, enabling sales teams, and ensuring Juniper remains top-of-mind in every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Enablement & Business Growth

  1. Serve as the primary liaison between our Canadian field sales teams and strategic national partners, ensuring deep integration and collaboration.
  2. Establish a strong in-person presence on partner sales floors, driving engagement, mindshare, and active sales motions.
  3. Develop and execute joint business plans, tracking progress through quarterly business reviews to measure success.
  4. Enable partners with sales training, technical certifications, and strategic insights to accelerate growth in Enterprise, Data Center, Campus, NFV, and Automation solutions.
  5. Lead and execute partner-led demand generation activities, including campaigns, webinars, customer events, and executive briefings.
  6. Drive alignment between our sales force and partner sales teams, ensuring a collaborative hunting motion that results in pipeline growth and revenue acceleration.
  7. Provide accurate and reliable partner forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Field Sales & Territory Alignment

  1. Tightly align with Commercial and Enterprise Account Teams, ensuring a seamless partner engagement strategy.
  2. Collaborate with regional sales leaders, inside sales teams, and marketing to ensure effective partner-led demand generation and deal execution.
  3. Act as a trusted advisor to partners, supporting their transition into Routing, Switching, Security, Core, Campus & Branch, Datacenter & Cloud Services.
  4. Lead strategic discussions with partner executives and program teams, helping position Juniper’s end-to-end solutions within their go-to-market strategies.

Partner Account Management

  1. Own quota attainment, sales training, sales/opportunity management, and compliance with certification requirements.
  2. Track partner performance metrics, ensuring revenue commitments and pipeline expectations are met.
  3. Drive win-win negotiations with partners, distributors, and internal stakeholders to optimize outcomes.
  4. Ensure partners are fully enabled and committed to selling Juniper’s networking and security solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  1. 5+ years of experience in technology sales, with a strong background in networking, security, or cloud solutions.
  2. Experience managing and enabling national partners, DMRs, VARs, or solution providers in Canada.
  3. Strong in-person presence and ability to drive engagement on partner sales floors.
  4. Proven ability to align our sales force and partner sales force, creating a collaborative hunting motion to accelerate revenue.
  5. Experience developing and executing channel sales strategies, joint business plans, and revenue growth initiatives.
  6. Energy, confidence, humility, coachability, ownership, and results-oriented mindset are essential traits.
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  8. Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in direct sales, channel sales, and/or marketing in the technology sector.
  2. Hands-on experience selling networking, security, or cloud solutions in the enterprise and commercial space.
  3. Background in Managed Services or Cloud Solutions is an asset.
  4. A track record of meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
  5. University degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
