Job Title: Student Printer Support Technician

Job Description:
The part-time Student Printer Fleet Technician works under the direction of the Manager, Print Services to maintain maximum uptime of the public facing multi-function printers accessed by students and employees at the Algonquin College Ottawa campus.
In the Student Printer Fleet Technician role, the incumbent must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, be able to communicate clearly, problem-solve effectively, work independently and within a team, and be able to work up to 24 hours per week. The Student Printer Fleet Technician is a key role in the support of student printing on campus and the incumbent is expected to work pro-actively to prevent printer failures from occurring and react quickly to resolve printer issues if and when they do occur.

Reports to the Manager, Print Services. Student Printer Support Technicians will work closely with the Print Optimization Officer. Student Printer Support Technicians will monitor printer fleet MS Teams and email communications on their mobile device.
