Job Description:

Reporting to the Dean, the incumbent develops and delivers courses in the Global Supply Chain Management Program and Global Business Management. Courses may be scheduled and delivered during the day or evening. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Delivering courses in the Global Supply Chain Management Program and Global Business Management Program
  2. Developing and delivering appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives in the following areas:
    1. Global Procurement Strategy
    2. Operations Strategy and Process Management
    3. Global Transportation and Logistics
    4. Information Systems for Global Business Operations
    5. Global Business Strategy
    6. Global Management and Leadership
    7. Innovation in the Global Marketplace
  3. Incorporating a variety of teaching/learning strategies to meet student needs
  4. Evaluating student progress/achievement
  5. Participating in program and college activities as required
  6. Participating in program revision and renewal activities as required
  7. Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field
  2. Minimum 5 years experience in supply chain management
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Commitment to life-long learning
  5. Proven ability to work in a team environment and to foster the same in students
  6. Experience in some or all of the following is an asset:
    • Curriculum development
    • A variety of delivery strategies
    • Adult learning methodologies
    • Academic advising
    • Student success strategies
  7. Teaching and Training Adults certification and/or experience in a teaching or training capacity is an asset
  8. Industry designation would be an asset

Acceptable proof of education (degrees, credentials) from recognized post-secondary institutions or confirmation of international equivalencies will be required as part of the selection process.
