Job Title: Men's Emergency Shelter Worker (Part-Time)
Location: Souls Harbour Rescue Mission (1632 Angus St, Regina, SK S4T 1Z2)
Type: 1 Part-Time Position
Wage: $17 / hour
Shifts: Every 2 weeks, there's a shift change. You must be available for Monday and Tuesday nights (12am-8am) for 2 weeks, and for evening weekend shifts (6pm-12am) for the following 2 weeks.
Description:
The Emergency Services Support Worker should demonstrate a high level of compassion when working with marginalized population groups and feel at ease supporting individuals with cognitive or emotional challenges. Punctuality is also essential for this role.
Qualifications:
- Must have open availability for evenings and nights on weekdays and weekends.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Available occasionally to cover other shifts, which means qualifying to work exceeding 20 hours per week.

Duties & Expected Results:
- Engage with all guests in a manner that affirms their dignity, worth, and value.
- Maintain the facilities cleanliness and presentation at all times.
- Handle incidents that require emergency services intervention as necessary.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Enforce shelter protocols and maintain high cleanliness standards to minimize health risks (e.g., bed bug outbreaks).
- Ensure completion of assigned guest chores.
